Let me start by saying that October is my FAVORITE month of the entire year I think. It FINALLY cools down. The leaves change. And then I LOVE Halloween because I feel like it kicks off the "holidays". And then there's pumpkin carving, chili, football (blah), and parties and weenie roasts and bonfires and hay rides, OH MY! :) Love it.
So I guess, honestly, I've just been ENJOYING October too much to document it. So here's a picture recap:
At some point around mid October I decided to host a Pumpkin Carving Party! It was fun! More people were there than this, but I didn't get pics of everyone! We ate chili, carved outside in my garage, and I have prizes for the winners! It was a fun night!
This was a Pinterest idea! Loveit!
Every year I make Halloween cupcakes! I love to do this!
This was my table for the party!
At another point in October (perhaps the first weekend?) there was a tea party for Hannah's mom, Mrs. Pam. It was a surprise and it was fun! Hannah and I dressed up like women from the 50's or so! I tried to be kinda June Cleaverish. Red lipstick even if it clashes.I had a ball! Loved doing my hair for this.
And then there was Halloween! David and I dressed as bumblebees and Calvin just carried around a flyswatter. Ha! We went to the Harvest Festival at First Baptist Church Joelton. We had loads of fun! David was the cutest little bumblebee if I do say so myself!
Halloween weekend was also the weekend of my grandmother's family reunion. So we went to that. There was a beautiful cabin with lots of leaves and an old railroad track and we thought it was the perfect place to take Fall pics! So these of David turned out really pretty I think!
And that was October! Between church, choir practices, parties, and more...we were very busy! And November has continued to stay busy! I'll write more later! :)
